Cinemas around Great Linford

Xscape, Marlborough Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 3XS, UK – 0871 200 2000

I only know Screen 16,but that was nice. Comfy chairs, good sound. Downside: a "black tunnel" lit only by bright Led strips on the both sides of the floor, taking you from entrance to the seating. *Very* disconcerting if, like me, you are of an age where darkness and bright lights make you feel unsteady on your feet! Why oh why can't the "black tunnel" be properly lit!!!

Exactly what you expect from Cineworld - clean and tidy with comfortable seats. 16 screens gives a lot of flexibility in terms of showings and timing. The integrated Starbucks is a nice touch for a good coffee to take into the film with you.

Xscape Milton Keynes

602 Marlborough Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 3XS, UK – 01908 357025

This is always a great day out. I'm a bit surprised how many restaurants have closed down especially when there are so many people that go through here. The cinema is really good and we like getting a shake and watching the snow boarders come down the hill. I fly is really great even if you just go to watch. The instructors are amazing.

Xscape has great choices. With a huge variety of restaurants and shops. A cinema. Skiing. And wind tunnel. Plenty of fun for all. A whole day out or more if you do everything. However parking is diabolical here and is often impossible. Rude traffic wardens. Other than that great place

Theatres for Great Linford

Stantonbury Theatre

Stantonbury Theatre, Stantonbury, Milton Keynes MK14 6BN, UK – 01908 324466

I sat through two performances of the show Oliver with my grandchildren. I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the whole show from start to finish. Every single member of the cast played there part with absolute skill, but a particular mention must be for the little girl who played Oliver. Despite a extremely challenging role she performed it with unbelievable enthusiasm and in my view will have a very promising future.

Could use a lick of paint and some care to finer details, bathrooms were serviceable but very cold and no hot water from taps. Theatre itself inside was much nicer than expected.

Chrysalis Theatre

Japonica Ln, Milton Keynes MK15 9JY, UK – 01908 235505

Nice smooth wooden floor, good for dancing, although it would have been brilliant if it were sprung floor.

Lovely little theatre, such a surprise will def visit again

Milton Keynes Theatre

500 Marlborough Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 3NZ, UK – 0844 871 7652

Good views from near the back. Comfortable seats. Very nice theatre. Not many toilet facilities though - huge queues in the interview with some people missing the start of the second half. Bear that in mind when visiting, but overall a lovely new theatre. Lots of free parking opposite just off the road in the evenings. Food/drinks quite expensive but normal for such a theatre.

Love this place. Staff are super nice and great with all types of special bookings e.g. schools and it's such a beautiful well put together theatre. Drinks and ice creams provided by the theatre are a little pricey but that's to be expected
